Forrest Cottrell is a veteran of sales and marketing given his 18 plus years with Procter and Gamble in increasing capacities. He was promoted seven times, moved to seven locations around the country and given 18 different responsibilities. He was the Vice President of Integrity Systems before becoming President of DVelop, Inc. He has hired over 1500 people and trained over 15,000 sales employees and 1300 managers and executives.
Forrest is married with three sons. All sons have been athletically active, therefore, Forrest began coaching both high school football and wrestling as a volunteer assistant coach. Each son was part of at least one State Championship team, and he has conducted the VALUES Goal Realization program with the football team where they have won back-to-back State Championships. (See Goal Realization under VALUES Programs Tab) He volunteers much of his time to nonprofit organizations, including a relief trip to the Philippines, in addition to conducting training in high schools, universities, prisons, and churches.
Forrest serves on three separate school boards, church boards, and was formerly on the Inroads Minority Internship Board of Directors for 12 years.
He and his wife, Kathleen, live in Phoenix, Arizona, and enjoy tennis, physical fitness, and studying with Bible Explorations.
James Young is the author of "Communicating with V.A.L.U.E.S." and the originator of the idea to create seamless training programs for an entire organization. The idea was developed as a result of his 30 years of experience in sales, leadership, and training. Besides serving as the Manager of Training for a major insurance company, James also was the V.P. of Sales for a software training company where he led his team from the #27th to the #1 revenue-producing office in the U.S. He has also served as the General Manager for an international training company.
His experience, the ability to understand the customers' needs, and his fun and unique training style has made him a much sought after speaker and trainer.
James has worked internationally with companies such as IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Labs, and many hospitals and healthcare facilities.
James' goal for the classroom is to create an environment of learning which will touch people at a level that will help improve the quality of their lives.
